RoomPerfect is Lyngdorf Audio’s embedded room-correction technology for adapting loudspeakers to room acoustics. It is designed for processor-based stereo or multichannel installations, covering home-theater, studio, and living-room systems. A dedicated proprietary microphone and measurement signal capture each speaker’s power response and room-related behavior. Digital corrections are then applied inside compatible stereo amplifiers and multichannel processors, rather than through a standalone computer application. Control is provided through Lyngdorf’s smartphone and tablet app on iOS and Android.
Measurement is central to RoomPerfect’s design. The 3DMAP multi-position acoustic room mapping process gathers room information across listening positions, while automatic digital correction addresses room-acoustic issues. AdapTC supplies an adaptive target curve, allowing the correction to follow the measured environment. Subwoofer performance and integration are included in the system’s scope, which suits installations where bass management and speaker correction need to work together. Because RoomPerfect is embedded in compatible hardware, the installation path depends on the selected amplifier or processor.
