Revo Scan 6 is Revopoint’s free software for capturing, processing, aligning, editing, and exporting 3D scan data. It is aimed at creators, engineers, manufacturers, CAD users, and 3D-printing workflows that use compatible Revopoint scanners or mobile scanning workflows. Desktop versions support Windows and macOS, while mobile versions support iOS and Android.
The free pricing model is straightforward: Revo Scan 6 provides real-time 3D scan capture, point-cloud acquisition and processing, GPU-accelerated point-cloud fusion, mesh generation, multi-model alignment, cleanup, and mesh editing without a paid tier structure. Its export coverage includes PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, FBX, and Splat, giving users options for point-cloud, mesh, CAD, visualization, and splat-based workflows. The main value is the combination of capture and post-processing in one application rather than a narrow scanning utility.
Its ecosystem fit is strongest for Revopoint hardware, including INSPIRE, INSPIRE 2, RANGE 2, MINI 2, POP 3, POP 3 Plus, POP 4, MIRACO, MIRACO Pro, and MIRACO Plus. AI object segmentation and tracking, along with 3D Gaussian Splatting, are available on supported scanners. Choose Revo Scan 6 when free, cross-platform software is the priority and the workflow is built around compatible Revopoint devices. Consider an alternative when the workflow requires broader scanner-input coverage beyond the supported Revopoint and mobile options.
