ResumUp is a web-based career-document platform for job seekers who want help creating resumes and cover letters for specific roles. Its cover-letter tools combine AI generation, templates, job-description tailoring, ATS-friendly content, AI suggestions, manual editing, scoring, and feedback. Users can also analyze resumes for ATS alignment, download completed letters, and track jobs. The product is best suited to applicants who want structured guidance while retaining control over the final wording.
Pricing is organized around a free plan and three paid options. The Monthly Plan costs $29 per month and includes all features, the AI cover-letter generator, and unlimited resumes and cover letters. The Yearly Plan costs $8.25 per month with annual billing and includes a full year of premium access, the AI generator, and unlimited resumes and cover letters. The Lifetime Plan costs $149 as a one-time purchase and includes current and future premium features, the AI generator, and unlimited resumes and cover letters. Premium plans also add features such as premium templates, job tracking, personalized support, and the beta Chrome extension.
The standout capability is the connection between drafting and job-specific review. ResumUp can generate a letter, support AI-assisted or manual revisions, and score the result against a job description with ATS-oriented feedback. That makes it more focused than a basic template library for applicants who want to adjust each letter to a posting. The tradeoff is that its emphasis is on career documents and application tracking rather than a broader recruiting workflow. Choose ResumUp if ATS guidance, job tailoring, and repeat document creation are priorities; look elsewhere if you need a mature browser extension or a tool centered beyond resumes, cover letters, and job tracking.
