Reflect review
A focused Mac tool for measuring rooms and correcting stereo bass peaks system-wide.

Reflect is a macOS room-correction application for stereo listening setups. It measures the speaker-and-room response at the listening position, displays that response, and automatically creates conservative EQ cuts for bass peaks from 20–200 Hz. The correction then applies system-wide to Mac audio, including Spotify, web browsers, games and other applications. Measurements can use the Mac microphone or a calibrated USB microphone, making Reflect a fit for solo listeners and small setups that want system-wide bass correction without changing each app individually.
Its standout strength is a focused measurement-to-correction workflow. Reflect processes audio and measurements locally rather than uploading them, provides A/B comparison between corrected and uncorrected playback, and works with REW-format filters in both directions. REW users can import existing filters or export Reflect-generated filters, while broader Mac playback coverage lets the correction remain active across supported audio applications. The scope is intentionally narrow: automatic correction targets bass peaks only, and the category specifications list stereo operation with a two-channel maximum rather than multichannel processing, convolution correction or hardware calibration.
Measurement is available on the free plan. The published Reflect license is priced at 39.99 EUR as a one-time payment, with that one-time license planned after beta. Reflect is currently distributed as beta software, and the download page lists beta expiry as November 27, 2026; pricing and licensing may change before public launch. Choose Reflect if you use a Mac stereo system and want measured, system-wide control of low-frequency peaks with REW compatibility. Consider another room-correction option if you need operating-system flexibility, more than two channels, full-range correction or hardware calibration.
