RebusFarm provides cloud CPU and GPU rendering for 3D artists, architects, visual-effects teams and studios. Its Farminizer plugin submits jobs directly from supported applications, while RebusDrop handles transfers and ControlCenter monitors jobs. The combination suits teams working across multiple 3D tools that need rendering capacity beyond local machines; it is less suited to buyers looking for a fixed-price plan or a workflow independent of supported software.

The service uses usage-based billing for both CPU and GPU rendering. According to the published plan details, CPU and GPU prices are independent of how many machines are used, and neither plan has a minimum turnover or upload, download or data-storage charges. The listing gives a starting price of 0.0053, but the product details also describe rates in cents per GHzh for CPU and OBh for GPU, with RenderPoints as account currency. Buyers should use the cost-estimation tools to assess jobs before committing; usage-based pricing will be less straightforward to budget than a fixed subscription. A limited free-credit trial is described for new registrants, with 25 RenderPoints ($29.38) and no payment information required.

Compatibility and transfer handling are central to the workflow. Farminizer checks projects before upload and can detect textures in advance to reduce transfers; RebusDrop automates uploads and completed-frame downloads. ControlCenter provides start, pause and cancel controls, while team features cover member management, budgets and sharing client progress. RebusFarm lists support for major DCC applications and renderers, including 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Redshift and OctaneRender, and provides software for Windows, macOS and Linux. Choose it if your team’s tools are supported and cloud rendering fits your pipeline; consider alternatives if you need flat-rate pricing or render support outside that ecosystem.

RebusFarm pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Submits jobs from supported 3D applications through the Farminizer plugin
    • Checks compatibility and detects textures before upload
    • Monitors jobs and estimates costs, with team budgets and sharing
  • Where it doesn't
    • Usage-based charges can make total rendering costs harder to predict
    • Workflows depend on supported applications and render engines
    • Requires transferring project assets to and from the cloud
