RDX for Reddit review
A free Reddit reader with subscriptions, search, saved posts, and media playback.

RDX for Reddit is a free, read-only client for browsing Reddit on Android and the web. It suits people who want to follow subreddit feeds and search or save posts without logging in or posting. Its narrow purpose is also its main boundary: this is a viewer, not a full Reddit account client, so people who want to participate should choose an app that supports account access and posting.
The browsing toolkit covers subreddit subscriptions, switching between them, and importing subscriptions. Search and saved posts help readers return to content, while compact post display and infinite scrolling support a streamlined feed. Themes and fonts allow some visual adjustment. Video, GIF, and gallery playback keep media within the browsing experience. Together, these features make RDX more than a basic text feed, while staying focused on reading rather than account management or contribution.
RDX is available as an Android app and a mobile-friendly web viewer, which gives readers a choice between mobile and browser access. The vendor describes the web app as open source. The vendor website describes the product as free; Google Play lists in-app purchases, so buyers should check the app listing for current purchase terms. Support channels include email and community. Choose RDX if read-only browsing is enough and its subscription, search, and media features match your routine. Skip it if you need to post, sign in to Reddit, or manage multiple accounts.
