Raxx Studio is a browser-based audio workstation for artists, engineers, and producers who need recording, arrangement, mixing, MIDI, beat creation, mastering, and collaboration in one workspace. Its feature set covers multitrack recording, vocal mixing with reference-track analysis, MIDI piano-roll editing, MIDI import and export, and support for external AU and VST3 plugins. Projects can run locally in the browser, with optional hosted storage and account-based backups. The product also includes release-planning, contracts, learning materials, and music-community features.
The freemium structure gives new users a Free plan with basic mixing, 3 mixes per month, and MP3 export with a watermark. Storage-focused plans add hosted reference storage and access to references from any signed-in device: 5 GB and 25 GB plans provide that shared capability, while the 100 GB plan adds producer-scale storage. The published plan structure makes Raxx Studio suitable for trying core workflows before choosing more hosted capacity. The Free plan is better suited to limited projects than regular watermark-free production or frequent mixing.
Collaboration and project continuity are central strengths. Real-time collaboration includes chat and timestamped comments, while continuous autosave and versioned project recovery support iterative work. Vocalists, producers, and engineers can also combine reference-track analysis with built-in effects, external plugins, mastering, and WAV, MP3, or stem export. Raxx Studio is a strong fit for collaborative music projects conducted through a browser or Mac, especially when MIDI, plugins, and shared references matter. Users who need broader desktop platform coverage or a more established integration ecosystem should consider alternatives.
