Rank Networks is web-based software for local businesses and SEO agencies that need to monitor Google Maps visibility. Its Grid Ranker scans configurable square or round geographic grids, tracks competitors, stores ranking history, and supports recurring scans. The platform also extends into local SEO campaign work through automated citations, city-specific blog posts, and niche blog posts. It is best suited to teams managing Google Business Profile visibility across defined service areas and presenting results to clients.
The published plans show two ways to run Grid Ranker. “Grid Ranker on our data” uses Rank Networks data and includes scheduled rescans, competitor tracking, branded client reports, share links, and 100 AI credits per month. “Grid Ranker BYOK” lets teams use their own ranking-data account, with unlimited scans not metered by Rank Networks, while retaining scheduled rescans, competitor tracking, branded reports, share links, and 100 AI credits per month. A 7-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The BYOK option is the more suitable fit for teams that already maintain a ranking-data account or need scan volume beyond the metered model.
The product’s strongest focus is local rank visibility: daily update frequency, Google Maps geo-grid scans, trend lines, run comparisons, email reports, branded PDF and CSV exports, and public report links support recurring client work. Integrations with Google Places API, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Stripe add ecosystem coverage, while AI-generated summaries and prioritized recommendations help turn scan results into next steps. However, its search-engine scope is Google Maps and its keyword limit is five, so teams needing broader search-engine coverage or larger keyword portfolios should choose a more expansive rank-tracking platform. Local SEO teams centered on Maps grids should find the feature set closely aligned with their workflow.
