Qwen API, delivered through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, provides hosted access to Qwen and selected third-party generative AI models. It targets developers and organizations that need cloud APIs for text generation, multimodal understanding, image and video creation, speech, embeddings and related application features. Access is available through web and API interfaces, with regional endpoints and API-key authentication rather than customer-managed inference infrastructure.
The published pay-as-you-go plan for Qwen3.7-Flash in Singapore international starts at $0.03 per 1 million input tokens. The 0–32K-token input tier charges $0.13 per 1 million output tokens, making usage-based budgeting central to deployment decisions. Model Studio does not provide a permanent free plan. Compatibility is a practical strength: developers can use OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions and Responses APIs, an Anthropic-compatible Messages API, or the native DashScope interface.
