QR & Barcode Scanner by Scratterz is an Android app for scanning QR codes and a range of 1D and 2D barcodes. It suits individuals who want scans stored on their device, need to work without an internet connection, or collect several codes in one camera view. It recognizes URLs, contacts, Wi-Fi details, payment codes, and other data types, and supports formats including EAN, UPC, Code 128, PDF417, Data Matrix, and Aztec. The free plan includes scanning, scan history, and offline core scanning.
Batch scanning is a notable fit for people who need to collect multiple codes and move the results into another workflow: the app can export batch results as CSV, JSON, or plain text. Product information lookup is also available as an optional feature. This makes the app more useful for repeated scanning and record keeping than a basic single-code reader, while keeping the core activity focused on scanning rather than broader inventory or team management. Its platform fit is narrow: the listed deployment is mobile on Android, so it is not a choice for iOS users or desktop scanning.
The published plan details show a free plan, while the vendor describes paid Pro features and an ad-free experience through a one-time purchase. The official pages do not give a purchase price, so buyers should check the current Google Play listing for the terms before deciding whether those extras are worthwhile. Scratterz lists email support and GDPR compliance. Choose it if offline scanning, locally stored history, and exportable batch results matter on Android; look elsewhere if you need cross-platform availability or a wider operational toolkit.
