qDslrDashboard is a camera-control application for Nikon and Canon DSLRs and Sony mirrorless cameras. It connects over USB, network or supported wireless adapters, giving photographers remote capture, synchronized shooting, live view, camera-property adjustment and image browsing. Its interval timer and interval controller suit time-lapse sequences, while multiple-camera connections make it particularly relevant to solo operators running coordinated DSLR setups.

The standout capability is exposure management for changing light. The LrTimelapse screen monitors histograms and can adjust shutter speed or ISO during sunrise and sunset sequences, supporting Holy Grail time-lapse work without limiting the workflow to fixed exposure settings. RAW image processing and preview, custom bracketing and focus stacking add useful capture and review tools. Dynamic Perception NMX support extends the setup to motion-controlled moves, and DslrDashboardServer (ddserver) provides a documented connection component for compatible network workflows.

Desktop versions for Windows, macOS and Linux are stated as free, while the Android app provides remote Nikon, Canon and Sony control, interval capture and RAW preview. The product lists Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android deployment, although the vendor says Apple removed its app. Support channels include email, community resources and documentation. Choose qDslrDashboard when synchronized camera control, interval scheduling and Holy Grail exposure handling matter more than a simplified interface. Operators needing broad camera-brand coverage, guaranteed iOS access or an all-in-one motion rig should evaluate alternatives before committing.
