PunchClock Pro is a web-based time and attendance platform for shift-based businesses such as retail, hospitality, restaurants, manufacturing, and technology companies. Employees clock in and out with a four-digit PIN on a shared tablet, desktop, or laptop, using a site-specific kiosk URL or shortcut. Administrators can manage locations, apply site-based GPS geofencing, review activity, edit punches with an audit trail, track overtime, and provide employee self-service access. English and French support, plus an optional scheduling add-on, extend its fit for distributed shift teams.
The pricing structure is straightforward. The Free plan costs CAD 0 per month for one company, one site, and up to 10 employees, with geofencing, kiosk access, and basic PDF reports. Starter costs CAD 19.49 per month for one company, two sites, up to 25 employees, two admins, and Excel, CSV, and PDF exports. Growth costs CAD 39.49 per month for up to three companies, six sites, 60 employees, four admins, and priority support. Business costs CAD 79.49 per month and adds unlimited companies, sites, and employees, six admins, dedicated support, and early access to new features.
PunchClock Pro’s main trade-off is its focused, web-only ecosystem. Phone-based clocking works through a browser shortcut, and no app installation is required, but there is no dedicated mobile app or integrations. That makes it a sensible choice for organizations that want shared-device clocking, location controls, reports, and basic workforce administration without a complex rollout. Teams that need connected payroll or HR workflows, deeper break verification, or broader approval controls should consider an alternative with those capabilities.
