A broad project workspace for small teams that need AI setup and billing tools.

ProProfs Project is a cloud-based project management platform for small and midsize businesses, professional services teams, and enterprises. Its feature set covers planning, collaboration, reporting, automation, time tracking, client access, estimates, and invoicing. Small teams can use AI-assisted project creation from a project description, while project participants can work through List, Kanban, Gantt, and Calendar views. The platform is available on web, iOS, Android, and through an API.
Pricing is structured around a capable Free plan and a paid Business plan. Free includes all premium features, remains free forever, and supports up to 3 users per account. Business costs $39.97 per month when billed annually and adds unlimited users, unlimited projects, unlimited storage, and unlimited automations. It also includes time tracking, timesheets, invoices, billing, estimates, API access, and single sign-on. A 14-day free trial is available. For a small team that fits within the Free plan, the product offers a broad way to organize work before committing to paid capacity.
Its strongest fit is for teams that need project execution and operational administration in one workspace. Dependencies, subtasks, reminders, recurring tasks, workflow automation, workload reports, AI reports, custom fields, roles, and permissions support structured delivery. Guest access, comments, discussions, file sharing, and @mentions extend collaboration to clients and external contributors. Estimates, expenses, billable hours, and invoice generation make the Business plan relevant to service organizations. The main constraint is ecosystem breadth: listed integrations are Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. Choose ProProfs Project if AI-assisted setup, time and billing tools, and client collaboration matter together; choose an alternative if a wider integration catalog is a priority.
