PRATIBIMB is a free Android document-scanning app developed by NIC Madhya Pradesh. It is designed for digitizing office orders, notesheets, images, bills, receipts, books, magazines, and other physical documents. Users can scan with the camera or import existing media, then export documents as PDF or JPEG files. The app is a practical fit for individuals and teams that need basic mobile capture, document storage, search, and sharing without a subscription.
Its strongest area is the scanning workflow. Automatic edge detection and perspective correction help frame pages, while image enhancement and filters provide additional control over scan quality. Multiple images or documents can be merged into one document, and individual pages or complete documents can be added or deleted. Document naming, in-app storage, search, a gallery view, and sharing through WhatsApp, email, and social media extend the app beyond simple image capture. Support for Hindi, English, Gujarati, and Telugu may also suit multilingual document workflows.
PRATIBIMB also connects with Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, and Evernote, giving users several established destinations for document sharing or storage. Its free model keeps the basic workflow straightforward, with the published Free plan covering document scanning, PDF and JPEG export, automatic edge detection, and document storage and search. The main trade-off is its narrow platform reach: the product is listed for Android, so it is not suited to buyers seeking a cross-platform scanning app. Choose PRATIBIMB for free Android scanning with multipage document handling and core organization features; consider an alternative if broader platform coverage or a more specialized document workflow is essential.
