Practice Better is an EHR and practice management platform for nutritionists, dietitians, health coaches, naturopaths, functional medicine providers, and related wellness professionals. It combines appointment booking, rescheduling, confirmations, public booking pages, digital intake forms, waivers, one-on-one telehealth, client portals, secure messaging, invoices, payments, clinical charting, programs, and workflow automations. Web, iOS, and Android access support practices serving clients across different devices, while the platform accommodates solo practitioners and multi-practitioner teams.
Its pricing structure covers several operating models. Sprout is free and includes up to 3 clients, 1 practitioner license, and 100 MB of storage. Starter costs $25 per user per month with annual billing and adds scheduling, telehealth, integrated billing and payments, 10 clients, and 1 GB of storage. Professional costs $59 per user per month annually and raises the limit to 300 clients, with group scheduling and payment plans. Plus costs $89 per user per month annually and includes unlimited clients, 3 admin licenses, SMS reminders, and unlimited storage. Team costs $145 per month annually and adds 2 practitioner licenses, unlimited admin licenses, team scheduling, a shared calendar, and team reporting. Paid plans include a 14-day trial, while Team includes a 30-day trial.
The strongest fit is a wellness practice that wants scheduling connected to clinical records, client communication, programs, payments, and recommendations rather than a standalone calendar. Integrations include Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin Connect, Cronometer, Fullscript, Claim.MD, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Nutri-Q. AI charting is available as an add-on. Practices should consider another product if their needs extend beyond holistic health and wellness workflows or if the entry-level client and storage limits are too restrictive.
