Podme is a paid subscription audio service for listeners and podcast creators. It focuses on exclusive premium podcasts, ad-free content, and selected audiobook access in one app. Listeners can build a personal library, receive podcast recommendations, download content for offline listening, and use the service on web, iOS, and Android. The service operates across Norway, Sweden, and Finland, making it a focused option for audiences in those markets.

The published plans are organized around podcast access, ad-free listening, shared access, and audiobooks. Premium includes access to premium podcasts and podcasts from VG, Aftenposten, BT, and SA, with no binding period. Premium Duo adds one extra user. Premium Total adds unlimited audiobook access, while Premium Total Duo combines audiobooks with one extra user. Podme does not offer a free plan, but it provides a 14-day free trial. Audiobooks therefore depend on choosing a Total plan, while the core podcast experience is available across the subscription tiers.

Podme also supports listening beyond the app through CarPlay and Android Auto, with offline playback for downloaded content. On the creator side, it offers exclusive publishing arrangements, revenue sharing, and strategic and administrative support. That makes the platform more than a listener subscription, but its creator proposition is centered on selected arrangements rather than broad monetization controls. Choose Podme if exclusive, ad-free podcasts and regional audio content are the priority. Look elsewhere if you need a free listening option or more extensive creator-side monetization management.
