Plumeform review
A research-focused survey builder with logic, quality controls, and export options.

Plumeform is a browser-based survey builder for customer feedback, team surveys, and research studies. It offers templates, a question builder, one-question-at-a-time or all-at-once formats, and collection through direct links or website embeds. The free plan makes it possible to create unlimited surveys with 19 question types and skip-and-jump logic, but limits collection to 250 responses per month. That makes it a practical starting point for smaller studies; researchers with higher volume or more controlled study designs will need Pro.
The paid plan is labeled Pro and costs $15 per month with monthly billing or $12 per month with annual billing, according to the vendor's pricing page. Both versions include 10,000 responses per month, AI survey drafting, full logic with piping and branching, branding removal, a Results API, XLSX export, and webhooks. Pro also adds screening, quotas, randomization, attention checks, show/hide rules, and repeated groups. Free includes skip-and-jump logic, while CSV export is available without upgrading. For research teams, the controls and research-oriented exports are the clearest reasons to pay; the choice between monthly and annual billing hinges on whether the lower annual rate fits their commitment.
Responses can be viewed through live charts, individual records, answer filters, cross-tabs, and response quality flags. Export choices broaden on Pro to include codebook and R formats, alongside XLSX. Plumeform lists Slack, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Prolific, and CloudResearch Connect integrations, as well as webhooks and a Results API. Surveys can be embedded inline, in a popup, through a floating launcher, or in an iframe. These options suit researchers who need configurable surveys and structured output, but teams seeking a broad conversational-form workflow may find the product's research orientation a mismatch. Email and documentation are the listed support channels.
