Plox is a web-based document-sharing and virtual data room platform for founders, investors, sales teams, and dealmakers. It supports fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and investor relations with secure share links, password and email access controls, page-by-page viewing analytics, dynamic watermarking, NDAs, activity tracking, and virtual data rooms. It is aimed at teams that need core diligence controls without starting at a high subscription price.

Pricing is structured across four annual-billing plans, with monthly billing also available. Free includes 50 documents, 100 MB maximum file uploads, 30 days of analytics history, and one seat. Pro costs $19 per month and adds unlimited documents, 1 GB file uploads, custom branding, a custom domain, and one year of analytics history. Team costs $79 per month and adds 5 GB file uploads, one data room, dynamic watermarking, and three seats. Data Rooms costs $199 per month and adds unlimited data rooms, file-level permissions, a Q&A module, and an NDA or access agreement. A 14-day free trial is available, while subscription payments are generally non-refundable.

For diligence workflows, Plox covers more than simple file sharing. Higher tiers add folders, bulk upload, visitor groups, file-level permissions, Q&A, and access agreements, while the platform also offers a REST API and webhooks. Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, and Zapier integrations support common workflows. The trade-off is breadth: the 1 GB maximum file size and lack of mobile apps may limit teams handling larger files or requiring mobile access. Plox suits small and cost-conscious deal teams that need core data room functions; teams needing broader file capacity or mobile apps should consider alternatives.
