Plany is a mobile daily-planning app for organizing tasks on a visual vertical timeline. Users can assign time slots, durations and colors, then work through plans with a focus countdown, time-based reminders, location-based reminders and customizable tasks. Its feature set suits students, founders, freelancers, people with ADHD-oriented planning needs and anyone managing errands. The app is available on Android through Google Play and is aimed at solo users and small teams.
Planning depth is Plany’s main strength. Time blocking is supported by a visual day view, task durations, colors, subtasks, checklists and habit tracking. Focus mode adds a live countdown timer, while AI accountability check-ins offer selectable tones. Human-touch notifications, AI follow-up messages and task-related follow-up notifications give the product a stronger accountability angle than a simple checklist. Location alerts are useful for tying reminders to errands, but the absence of calendar integration makes Plany a less suitable choice for people who need their daily plan connected to an existing calendar.
The pricing structure centers on a 14-day Free trial, which includes 10 AI chats per day, human-touch notifications, AI follow-up messages, and task, icon and theme customization. Pro costs $24.99 per year with annual billing and raises the allowance to 20 AI chats per day, adding task-related follow-up notifications, notification customization and memory. The published plans also include future features, while monthly and lifetime options are displayed without amounts. Choose Plany for Android-first visual focus planning with reminders and AI accountability; choose an alternative if you need iPhone coverage, calendar integration or a permanent free plan.
