PlanMyGrid is a web-based Instagram planning workspace for solo creators, social media managers, brands and agencies. Its drag-and-drop grid planner provides a live feed preview while supporting Reels, Stories, Highlights and carousels. Content calendars, email reminders, AI tools and share links extend the workflow beyond visual layout. Paid plans add direct Instagram publishing and scheduling, while collaboration features cover comments, approvals, team roles and multi-brand workspaces.
The Free plan lasts indefinitely and includes one active grid, 20 media uploads, a watermarked share link, two free AI tries and comments-only client review. Pro costs $9 per month or $79 per year, adding unlimited grids, media and share links, direct publishing, the full AI suite, calendar reminders and unwatermarked links. Studio is $29 monthly or $279 annually, with five brand workspaces, unlimited team seats, approval sign-off, reviewer chains, an encrypted credential vault and a client media library. Agency costs $99 monthly or $949 annually and adds 20 workspaces, custom share and email sender domains, Facebook and LinkedIn planning, plus priority support and onboarding. A seven-day trial requires a card, and a 14-day refund policy is listed.
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Sign-In integrations give the workspace a broader account connection set, although the deployment is web-only. The main setup work is organizing grids, uploading media and inviting reviewers; share links and approval chains are designed for client handoffs. Studio suits teams managing several brands, while Agency fits agencies needing white-label domains and cross-network planning. Solo users who only need one grid can stay on Free, but teams seeking broader analytics or a non-web workflow should consider alternatives.
PlanMyGrid pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Live drag-and-drop planning covers feeds, Reels, Stories, Highlights and carousels.
- AI captions, hashtags, bios, color analysis and grid analysis aid preparation.
- Client approvals, team roles and encrypted credential storage support collaboration.
- Where it doesn't
- The Free tier limits users to one active grid and 20 media uploads.
- Direct Instagram publishing and the full AI suite require Pro or higher.
- Its web-only focus and narrower analytics may not fit broader marketing teams.
