Pizazoo Screenshot Editor is a screenshot annotation tool with a browser-based editor and a native macOS app. It suits people who need to mark up screenshots, organize a growing image library, search screenshot text, or hide sensitive information. The web editor supports arrows, lines, rectangles, ellipses, freehand pen, highlighter, text labels, auto-numbered step badges, blur, pixelation, cropping, color controls, and adjustable stroke widths. It processes images locally without uploads, signup, or watermarks, and can export PNG files or copy results to the clipboard.

The native macOS app adds a broader screenshot-management workflow. Its published features include automatic screenshot import, on-device OCR search, built-in categories, a review popup after capture, favorites and archive, bulk import, automatic categorization, manual and automatic redaction, watermarking, signatures, background removal, and perspective correction. The OCR, categorization, and image-processing features make it more suitable for an organized screenshot library than a markup-only utility. Its platform fit is split: the online editor works in a browser, while the organizer and editor experience is native to macOS.

The online Screenshot Editor is free. The macOS app has a Free tier and one-time Pro licenses: Pro · 1 Mac costs $15, Pro · 3 Macs costs $25, and Pro · 5 Macs costs $35. Paid tiers add tags, saved searches, unlimited custom categories, restore by email, and device coverage according to the published plans. The main trade-off is output flexibility: PNG export and clipboard copying are specified, with no other export format listed. Choose Pizazoo for local screenshot annotation, OCR search, redaction, and categorization, especially on Mac. Choose an alternative if you need broader export formats or a non-macOS native library.
