PIM Plus DAM review
A broad DAM and syndication platform for organizations managing complex product content.

PIM Plus DAM centralizes product images, videos, audio, PDFs, technical documents, catalogs, CAD files, and brand assets. It is designed for manufacturers, distributors, retailers, brands, and product organizations that need to connect media with structured product information. Core capabilities include metadata organization, AI-generated tags and alt text, version control, role-based permissions, secure shareable links, partner portals, and controlled access for viewing, downloading, editing, and management.
Its strongest fit is a product-content operation that needs more than a media library. Channel-specific resizing and variations support distribution workflows, while branded catalog templates and PDF export extend asset management into sales and product documentation. The platform connects with ERP and CRM systems, including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and INFOR, and provides REST API and GraphQL access. Commerce integrations include Amazon, Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, giving teams options for connecting product assets with commerce channels.
The published editions are PIM-Plus On-Premises and PIM-Plus with Syndication. The on-premises edition includes ERP integration, distributor channel syndication, MAM/DAM, permissions, dynamic PDF data sheets, and dynamic catalogs. The with Syndication edition adds real-time e-commerce syndication, profiling, monitoring and alerting, and AI Assist. There is no free plan, and the product is positioned as a paid platform rather than a lightweight standalone DAM. Choose it when asset governance, product data, portals, catalog output, and syndication need to work together; teams seeking only basic file storage or a narrow DAM may prefer a simpler tool.
