PhotoSearch, operated by Publitek as Fotosearch, is a stock-content search and licensing website for creative professionals, businesses, and publishers. It covers photography, illustrations, vectors, clip art, video footage, audio, maps, and editorial content. Buyers can license royalty-free or rights-managed assets, save selections to lightboxes, and download licensed files immediately after purchase, subject to the applicable license terms. Founded in 1998, the service is suited to teams that need access to multiple types of visual content from one web-based destination.
Pricing centers on prepaid, one-time credit packages. The 13 Credits plan costs $19.49, while 30 Credits costs $44, 63 Credits costs $89, 110 Credits costs $149, and 190 Credits costs $249. Credits provide a way to purchase eligible content without committing to a recurring plan. PhotoSearch also offers subscription access for eligible content and supports individual asset licensing, giving buyers more than one purchasing route. The main distinction is between flexible credit purchasing and content-specific licensing, particularly where rights-managed or editorial-use terms apply.
The catalog’s breadth is a clear fit for projects that may require photographs, illustrations, clip art, vectors, editorial assets, video, or audio. However, PhotoSearch is web-only, with no integrations or API listed, so it is better suited to browser-based research, selection, licensing, and downloading than to connected creative workflows. Buyers who need rights-managed imagery, editorial content, or occasional credit purchases should consider PhotoSearch. Teams seeking integrated asset delivery or a narrowly focused subscription library may prefer an alternative.
