PhotoLog is an Android field documentation app for inspectors, contractors, adjusters, property managers and other users who need dated, located photo records. It automatically adds GPS coordinates and capture times, then lets users organize images under a job key. Typed or voice-dictated notes, search, sharing and export support routine site documentation. Existing gallery images can be imported through Photo Snap Sets, making the app useful when photos already sit on a device.

The freemium structure keeps basic logging accessible. Starter costs CAD 0 forever and includes 24 camera captures, unlimited Photo Snap Sets imports, GPS geotagging, notes, search, sharing and export. Pro Monthly costs CAD 2.99 per month, while Pro Annual costs CAD 19.99 per year; both add unlimited image captures alongside GPS, notes, search, sharing and export. An Image Fingerprinting add-on costs CAD 14.99 one time and records SHA-256 fingerprints for tamper-evident export verification.

For field workflows, PhotoLog combines offline capture, GPS tagging and export with Google Maps links, an interactive photo map, and compatibility with Google Earth and GIS workflows. Batch ZIP exports package images with HTML, CSV and map-related data, which can reduce manual report assembly. Photos and location data remain on the device rather than in a cloud library, so it suits solo operators and small teams that can manage device-based records. Choose it for focused Android documentation with low recurring cost; consider another product if your team requires cross-platform deployment or cloud-based photo collaboration.
