Photo Booth Studio is an iPad and iPhone app for running digital and printed photo booths at weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, and other gatherings. It supports photo strips, live videos, boomerang GIFs, offline capture, and event galleries. Event Mode is protected by a passcode, while the app can work with an iPad or iPhone camera or supported Sony and Canon cameras connected over USB. It is aimed at operators who want a compact, Apple-based booth setup rather than a broader event-marketing platform.
The freemium plan structure keeps the entry point straightforward. The Free plan allows download and use but places watermarks on photos. Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly both provide access to all app features, and the Pro subscription removes watermarks. The core feature set covers custom photo-strip template design, AirPrint printing, QR code sharing, iMessage, WhatsApp, email, and AirDrop delivery. Background replacement uses on-device person segmentation, and per-event galleries support bulk sharing. This makes the product a practical fit for events where branded strips and quick guest delivery matter more than marketing workflows.
Its ecosystem fit is strongest for Apple-centered events. Google Drive and Dropbox support cloud delivery, while AirPrint handles printing and Sony and Canon cameras expand capture options beyond the built-in device camera. The trade-off is platform scope: the app is limited to iOS and iPadOS, so it is not suited to Android or cross-platform booth operations. It also does not provide lead capture. Choose Photo Booth Studio for simple iPad photo-strip booths with flexible sharing and printing; choose an alternative if lead collection or broader platform support is central to the event.
