PhonicMind review
Useful for short song conversions, with broader exports on higher plans.

PhonicMind is a browser-based AI audio-separation service for singers, musicians, DJs, producers, and remixers who want to isolate vocals or instrument groups from songs. It can separate lead and backing vocals, drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keys, strings, and horns. Its interactive player adds stem mixing, synchronized lyrics, chord and tempo detection, and a metronome, making it relevant both for preparing mixes and practicing parts. The service is web-only, and its shortest song limit is five minutes, so it is a better fit for short conversions than longer recordings.
The pricing separates a one-time conversion from recurring access. Single Studio Conversion costs $6.99 once for one song and provides Studio-grade output, 320 kbps player quality, and lossless-ready export. The recurring Sing plan is $9.99 per month; it includes lead vocals, backing vocals when present, and an instrumental stem, synchronized lyrics, and 192 kbps MP3 playback, but no downloads. Play costs $18.99 per month and recognizes up to eight stems from 16 classes, with metronome and chords, 256 kbps playback, MP3 exports of custom mixes or soloed stems, and a ten-minute song limit. Studio is $29.99 per month, adds 320 kbps playback, FLAC mix downloads and lossless stem packages, and permits songs up to 20 minutes.
The choice hinges on whether playback or export matters more. Sing suits vocal practice and listening to short songs, but the lack of downloads makes it a poor choice for users who need files. Play provides editable MP3 outputs and more stem separation, while Studio is the option for lossless exports and longer tracks. Someone converting only one short song can avoid a monthly plan with the $6.99 option; users needing repeated work, downloadable files, or tracks beyond five minutes should compare the higher tiers. Those who need a desktop application or a free plan should look elsewhere.
