Philips SpeechLive is a cloud-based dictation and transcription platform for professionals and teams. It supports recording through mobile apps, web browsers, desktop software, and supported voice recorders, with workflows for uploading, assigning, tracking, and transcribing dictations. Business, legal, healthcare, and other professional teams can use it for real-time recognition, recorded-audio transcription, document attachments, and administration across web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and API environments.
The published plans span basic recording through legal-focused AI work. Basic costs $12.90 per user per month with annual billing and includes mobile recording and file upload, but not automatic transcription or speech recognition. Pro costs $17.90 per user per month with annual billing and adds browser recording, task assignment, and optional automatic transcription and speech recognition. Enterprise adds task assignment, tracking, and third-party software connections. Speech Recognition Legal costs $43.80 per user per month and adds legal terminology recognition, automatic punctuation and corrections, transcription for up to 10 speakers, and unlimited usage subject to a fair-use policy. Legal AI Assistant costs $54.00 per user per month with annual billing and includes AI-assisted legal drafts, templates, natural-language editing, and combined audio, PDF, and image processing.
SpeechLive fits organizations that need dictation to connect with established professional systems. Its integrations include iManage, Actionstep, Clio, NetDocuments, Dragon Medical One, Microsoft Entra ID, and the SpeechLive API, which supports users, teams, dictations, and attachments. Custom vocabulary, voice commands, personal vocabulary management, summaries, insights, and document generation broaden its workflow coverage. The tradeoff is a paid-only model, no offline mode, and a Basic tier without speech recognition. Teams needing structured dictation, legal terminology, and integrations should consider SpeechLive; buyers seeking free access, offline work, or recognition in the entry plan should choose another tool.
