When PDFs become damaged or unreadable, PCDOTS PDF Repair is a Windows desktop tool for individuals and organizations that need to recover surviving content. It can rebuild PDF structure and recover elements such as text, images, fonts, pages, bookmarks, hyperlinks, and form fields. Users can review recovered pages in a built-in viewer before saving repaired copies, while the original files remain untouched.

Batch repair is a practical fit for folders of damaged documents: the tool queues files for processing and produces a report listing processed files and recovery results. Processing runs locally on Windows rather than uploading documents. A free demo scans files and previews recoverable pages, but saving repaired files requires a paid license. That makes the demo useful for checking whether content appears recoverable before buying, without substituting for the paid repair workflow.

According to the vendor's pricing page, Personal costs $29 one-time for personal use on one PC or laptop and includes one year of free upgrades. Business is $99 one-time for commercial use, with lifetime upgrades and priority 24/7 support; Enterprise is $199 one-time for use on client and customer systems, also with lifetime upgrades and priority 24/7 support. Choose Personal for an individual Windows machine, or a higher tier when commercial rights or client-system use matter. It is not a fit for Mac users or anyone who needs to save repaired files without purchasing a license.
