PassMedicine is a web-based exam-preparation service for medical students, doctors, pharmacists, and applicants to medical-school or medical-training programs. Its exam-specific resources cover medical school exams, UKMLA, MRCP, PLAB, MSRA, UCAT, pharmacy registration, and other professional assessments. Free access is available, while paid resources are sold as fixed-duration subscriptions. The range is suited to learners who want question practice and revision materials for a particular exam rather than one universal course.
The subscriptions differ in both price and scope. The Situational Judgement Test resource costs £10 per four months and includes over 240 questions, revision mode, timed tests, teaching notes, and question-review tools. PLAB Part 1 & 2 costs £12 per four months, with over 5,000 PLAB Part 1 questions, a 180-question mock exam, and a CPSA resource with AI-powered virtual patients. Medical student finals / UKMLA is £15 per four months and includes over 12,000 questions, 2026 UKMLA Content Map alignment, and OSCE and Prescribing Safety Assessment resources. MRCP Part 1 costs £35 per four months and includes over 5,400 questions, three realistic mock exams, and textbooks. These are distinct exam subscriptions, so the right choice depends on the assessment being prepared for.
Revision tools extend beyond question banks: resources include syllabus-focused and extended textbooks, reference libraries, performance comparisons, score histograms, question flagging, personal revision notes, and a spaced-repetition Knowledge Tutor. AI-powered virtual patients are available for PLAB Part 2. The service is web-only, which may not suit learners who want a mobile app. Its broad exam coverage is useful when the needed resource is included, but the separate subscriptions make it less suitable for someone seeking one paid package spanning every exam. Choose it for web-based, exam-specific practice and accompanying revision materials; look elsewhere if a mobile platform is essential.
