Particify is a web-based audience response system for universities, schools, companies and other organizations. It combines interactive surveys, live polling, moderated Q&A, quizzes, anonymous feedback and asynchronous participation. Presenters can create reusable rooms and question series, moderate and vote on contributions, display results, and export content or responses. Its open-source model and self-hosted option make it particularly relevant for organizations that want control over deployment, while web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android support covers varied participation setups.
The Free plan provides 200 participants per room, unlimited rooms, unlimited question series, and poll and Q&A moderation. The published Pro plan costs €12 per account per month with annual billing and raises the room limit to 500 participants. It adds results export, collaborative room editing and Particify Overlay, which connects presentation software with the response experience. Pro requires at least five accounts and excludes VAT. The Campus plan is designed for larger institutional deployments, with up to 1000 participants per room, branding, single sign-on and LMS integration.
Particify’s strongest fit is education and structured events where moderation, reusable content and privacy-conscious participation matter. Moodle, ILIAS, Stud.IP, LTI 1.3, Shibboleth, CAS and LDAP support help it fit into institutional learning and identity environments. Choose it if open-source deployment, anonymous interaction and education integrations are priorities. Consider another audience response system if you need a simpler paid plan for a small team, a lower participant ceiling with fewer account requirements, or broader commercial collaboration features outside its education-oriented ecosystem.
