Outliner by Alfred Fritz is an Android app for organizing hierarchical lists, tasks, ideas, memos, and small projects. Its collapsible tree structures support unlimited outlines, drag-and-drop movement, quick editing, due dates, statuses, and multiple views. The free plan includes unlimited outlines, tree-structured lists, to-do and due-date views, and basic import and export. It suits Android users who want one workspace for structured notes and task-oriented outlines.

The product’s strongest advantage is its format and ecosystem coverage. Import and export options include CSV, Natara Bonsai, Treepad HJT, Treeline TRLN, OPML, and plain text, while HTML export is available with the Pro Key. Synchronization options include Google Tasks, Dropbox, Treepad, Treeline, OPML, Google Drive, ownCloud, and Nextcloud. Search, filtering, hashtag views, backups and restore, rich-text activity notes, subtree operations, notifications, and templates extend the app beyond basic list-making.

The Free plan provides a substantial core for outlining and task organization, while the Pro Key adds synchronization, richer export, search, backups, notifications, subtree operations, and rich-text notes. The main constraint is platform coverage: the app is available on Android, with no desktop apps. Users who primarily work from Android and value hierarchical organization should find the feature set well aligned with that workflow. Teams or individuals who need desktop access or a wider cross-platform workspace should choose an alternative with broader platform support.
