OtsTurntables is desktop DJ software for music lovers, aspiring DJs, and professional DJs who want two virtual turntables on Windows. It supports MP3, WAV, OTS, and CD audio, with playlists, intelligent auto-mixing, manual scratching, built-in scratches, pitch and tempo shifting, reverse playback, turntable effects, equalization, and dynamics processing. The free edition provides a straightforward starting point and is available without spyware or banner ads.
The paid editions use one-time pricing rather than subscriptions. Bedroom costs $39.95 and includes the core mixing features, including a 10-band graphic equalizer, pitch and tempo shifting, manual scratching, and turntable effects. Silver costs $69.95 and adds Dynamics Processor custom settings and headphone cueing. Pro costs $99.95 and adds a scratch sampler, mix recording, ShoutCast support, visualization support, and Hercules DJ Console MK1 support. This tier structure suits buyers who want to add monitoring, recording, or webcasting capabilities without moving to a recurring plan.
OtsTurntables keeps its scope narrow: virtual turntables, auto-DJ playback, audio effects, recording, and webcasting. Its Windows-only coverage and listed Hercules DJ Console MK1 integration make it a better fit for users seeking a focused desktop tool than for DJs who need a broader hardware or media ecosystem. The product does not include DVS, stem separation, video mixing, or cloud library sync. Choose it for simple two-deck mixing and scratching on Windows; choose an alternative if those advanced features or wider platform coverage are central to your workflow.
