OnlyPodcasts review
A free Android podcast app with private feeds, downloads, and no account requirement.

OnlyPodcasts is a free podcast player for Android users who want straightforward, ad-free listening without creating an account. It combines podcast directory search with custom RSS feed import and private Patreon RSS feed support, making room for both public discovery and subscriber-only shows. The app is aimed at individual listeners and supports downloads, playlists, variable playback speed, chapter navigation, and Android Auto integration.
Its strongest fit is a private, device-focused listening setup. Subscriptions, listening history, settings, and local listening progress are stored on the Android device, while offline episode downloads support listening without a connection. Chapter navigation, playback-speed controls, and playlists add useful organization without shifting the focus away from core podcast playback. Android Auto support also extends listening into compatible vehicle use. The published product details show a mobile experience centered on Android rather than a multi-platform podcast ecosystem.
OnlyPodcasts works well for solo listeners who want a free, ad-free Android app with custom feeds and private Patreon content. It is less suitable for anyone who moves between devices or expects subscriptions and progress to synchronize, since listening information is stored locally. Android-only availability also limits its fit for listeners who want a desktop, iOS, or broader platform setup. Buyers looking for video podcasts or transcripts should choose an alternative with those capabilities. For Android users who value simplicity, offline access, private feeds, and local control, OnlyPodcasts keeps the feature set focused and practical.
