OnlineLabels Maestro Label Designer review
A free web label designer with mail merge and generators for sheet printing.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
OnlineLabels Maestro Label Designer is a browser-based tool for creating and printing labels, aimed at solo users and small businesses. It supports blank and pre-designed templates, custom label width and height, and common shapes including circles, ovals, rectangles, rounded rectangles, CD/DVD labels, and unique formats. Users can add text, shapes, and uploaded images, then print designs at home or order printed labels.
The designer is available free, making it suitable for occasional projects and budget-conscious label workflows. Printing without an activation code adds a watermark, while qualifying OnlineLabels purchases include activation. Its feature set covers practical sheet-label needs: mail merge for variable data, a barcode generator with nine barcode types, QR code generation, and a nutrition label generator. These tools make it useful for product labels, mailing runs, and designs that need structured fields rather than static text alone.
Maestro Label Designer runs on the web in a cloud deployment and is made for use with OnlineLabels products. Phone support and documentation are available. It fits users who want straightforward browser-based design, print-sheet compatibility, and the option to send finished work for printing. Teams seeking AI features, broader automation, or a desktop workflow should look at alternatives with those capabilities instead.
