OCR.space is a cloud OCR API and online OCR interface for converting image files and multi-page PDF documents into editable text or searchable PDFs. It is suited to developers and organizations that need structured OCR responses, multilingual processing, document-layout data, or local processing. The API accepts file uploads, URLs, and Base64 images, then returns JSON with parsed text and processing status.
Pricing covers several usage patterns. The Free plan includes 25,000 requests per month, a 1 MB file-size limit, and searchable PDF creation with a watermark; PDF files are limited to 3 pages. The monthly PRO plan costs $30 and raises the request allowance to 300,000 per month and the file-size limit to 5 MB, while retaining the 3-page PDF limit. PRO PDF costs $60 per month, includes 300,000 requests, supports 100 MB+ files and 999+ PDF pages, and adds searchable PDF creation. Enterprise provides custom request volume, 100 MB+ files, 999+ PDF pages, and custom OCR fine tuning. PRO yearly and PRO PDF yearly plans show a 20% discount.
