NTI Media Maker Express is a Windows desktop suite for creating and copying optical media. It targets solo users and small organizations that need Audio CD production alongside broader disc tasks. Music files in MP3, WAV, or WMA can be turned into Audio CDs with CD-Text, crossfade, and normalization controls. The suite also handles WMA discs, live recording from a microphone or line input, CD/DVD copying, data discs, and selected DVD video folders. Windows XP through Windows 11 are documented as supported.

Licensing is paid and organized by installation count rather than feature tier. The 1 License plan permits installation on one PC; 2 Licenses covers two PCs; 5 Licenses covers five; and 10 Licenses covers ten. Each plan centers on the same Media Maker Express feature set, so the higher counts add deployment seats instead of separately described capabilities. There is no free plan. This structure fits households or small offices that need multiple installations, while a single-PC buyer can use the smallest option.

Audio work is the clearest differentiator: crossfade, normalization, CD-Text entry, and live recording sit alongside multi-recorder burning and data-disc spanning. Session Explorer and disc-information tools add visibility into sessions and media, while erase utilities support rewritable discs. The product remains Windows-only and desktop-bound, with support offered through email and documentation. Buyers seeking macOS or Linux support, browser access, or a free burner should look elsewhere. Choose NTI Media Maker Express when Windows compatibility and adjustable Audio CD preparation matter more than broader platform coverage.
