nowU review
A focused web planner for timeboxing tasks around your calendar.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
nowU brings tasks and calendar events into one web view, with a focus on time blocking. Users can drag tasks onto calendar slots, reserve time for work, and organize tasks with suggested tags. The service documents two-way syncing with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. That makes it a fit for solo users and small teams who want to plan tasks directly around existing calendar commitments, rather than manage a broader project workflow.
Calendar integration is central to the product: changes sync in both directions with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, so the calendar view can combine meetings and planned work. For people who prefer to schedule visually, dragging tasks into open slots is paired with shortcuts for capturing, scheduling, rescheduling, and completing tasks. Unfinished tasks can move automatically to the next day’s first free slot, which helps keep a daily plan current without manually placing every carryover task.
The website describes nowU as free while it is in beta. That is useful for evaluating the planner, but it should not be read as a commitment to a permanent free plan. The product is web-only, and its stated focus is daily calendar planning; people looking for mobile access or a wider planning system should consider alternatives. Choose nowU if your routine centers on a web calendar and timeboxing, and if Google or Apple calendar sync matters. Look elsewhere if you need a planner beyond the web or want pricing certainty beyond the beta period.
