Noodle is an intranet and digital workplace platform from Vialect for organizations that need to bring communication, content, people and everyday work into one environment. Its feature set covers news and blog publishing, employee profiles, directories, org charts, custom pages, portals, documents, folders, search, forums, activity feeds, polls, chat, forms, workflows, tasks, project management and calendars. Access rights and group-based permissions support controlled publishing and collaboration, while cloud and on-premises deployment give organizations a choice of operating model.
The pricing structure centers on two deployment paths. Cloud costs $300 USD per month and includes the complete suite of apps, a custom intranet domain, single sign-on, 250GB of storage, unlimited sections and automatic upgrades. On-Premise costs $7,500 USD one time and supports Windows or Linux deployment, single sign-on, automatic upgrades, unlimited sections, up to 1,000 user access, and installation and setup support. On-premises upgrades and support cost $1,500 USD per year, covering software updates, new releases, security patches, maintenance updates and priority response times for critical issues. Organizations should compare the recurring cloud cost with the one-time on-premises option and its annual support plan.
Noodle is particularly suited to organizations that need infrastructure control alongside a broad employee portal, especially where Active Directory, Google Workspace, Okta, OneLogin, Google Drive or Google Calendar fit the existing environment. Its API, self-hosted support and integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Hugging Face add ecosystem flexibility. The trade-offs are a paid-only model, a $300 monthly cloud entry point and mobile access through a browser interface. Choose Noodle for a configurable intranet with on-premises deployment and wide workplace functionality; consider an alternative if a free plan or a dedicated native mobile experience is central to the buying decision.
