Ninja Forms is a self-hosted WordPress form-building plugin for organizations, businesses, agencies, nonprofits, and other WordPress site owners. Its Core plan provides a drag-and-drop builder, unlimited forms and submissions, 28+ fields with validation, calculations, templates, notifications, redirects, submission management, exports, and GDPR and CCPA compliance tools. Forms can be published through WordPress blocks, shortcodes, appended page content, shareable links, or popups using the separate Popup Maker plugin.
The free Core plan is the main attraction for WordPress users who need a broad form foundation without a subscription cost. It includes unlimited sites, free support, and unlimited forms and submissions. Paid plans add packaged capabilities and priority support: Plus costs $99 per year for 3 sites and 16 add-ons, Pro costs $199 per year for 20 sites and 28 add-ons, and Elite costs $499 per year for unlimited sites and all add-ons. According to the vendor's pricing page, these are recurring annual prices, with discounted first-year prices shown separately.
Ninja Forms also covers more advanced workflows through its add-on model. File uploads provide controls for size, type, and storage, while payment collection supports PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, Elavon, and Recurly. Conditional logic and multi-step forms are available through add-ons, alongside email marketing, CRM, automation, and other integrations. The ecosystem includes named connections such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, and ConvertKit, with 30 named integration or automation add-ons listed in the vendor's sitemap. Choose Ninja Forms for a flexible WordPress-based starting point; consider another option if core features must include payments or advanced workflow logic without extra add-ons.
