A free, creator-focused community platform with publishing, discussion and moderation tools.

Newgrounds is a web-based community and publishing platform for individual creators, artists, musicians, game developers and online communities. It brings discussion boards and community chat together with publishing for games, movies, audio and art. Registered users can maintain profiles, follow creators, review submissions, vote on content, save favorites and organize playlists. The platform also includes private or unlisted playlist visibility, private messaging, community events, project collaboration and moderation workflows, making it suited to communities where publishing and conversation are closely connected.
Its strongest distinction is breadth within creative publishing. Members can share multiple media types, receive reviews and votes, participate in events, and work with others through project and team tools. Creator feeds and user profiles support ongoing participation, while flagging and moderator workflows give community managers tools for handling submissions and discussions. This makes Newgrounds a natural fit for a mixed creative community rather than a platform centered on a single format or a private member area.
The free plan provides the core community and publishing experience. Supporter Monthly adds ad-free browsing, a Supporter badge and a higher daily private-message limit. Supporter Yearly includes ad-free browsing, a Supporter badge and yearly membership. These subscriptions are membership options rather than conventional tiers that add a wider set of administrative controls. Newgrounds is available on the web, and no official member mobile app is included. Choose it for an open creative community combining media publishing, discussion and participation; consider another platform if native mobile access or a conventional tiered community-management product is essential.
