Neukol review
A feature-rich classroom platform for individual instructors, with limited ecosystem reach.

Neukol is virtual classroom software for tutors, schools, training providers, and other educators. It combines live video classes with screen and file sharing, a collaborative interactive whiteboard, teaching tools, participant controls, chat, attendance reporting, recording, playback, scheduling, and breakout discussions. Desktop and mobile clients are available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The feature mix makes it a strong fit for individual instructors who need more than video conferencing alone.
The plan structure covers occasional teaching through recurring instruction. The Free plan includes classrooms up to 90 minutes, up to 2 lessons per month, up to 15 participants, 1 GB of cloud storage, and replay for up to 7 days. Pro is listed at $19.99 per license per month when billed annually, adding classrooms up to 3 hours, unlimited lessons up to 60 hours per month, cloud recording, 10 GB of cloud storage, and an Admin Portal. A Consumption option uses pay-as-you-go billing with a prepaid model and lesson and recording fees. The published plans give individual educators a path to start free and add capacity or administration as their teaching needs grow.
Neukol’s strongest distinction is the breadth of classroom controls and teaching interaction. Instructors can manage participant audio, video, seating, and authorization while using quizzes, timers, responders, rewards, questions, and shared materials during lessons. Attendance reporting, class playback, a material library, and breakout rooms extend the platform beyond a basic meeting room. The trade-off is ecosystem reach: integrations are absent, and the verified category capacity is one participant. Instructors who value built-in teaching tools should consider Neukol; teams that depend on integrations or broader verified participant capacity should choose an alternative.
