NectarVet is a cloud-based veterinary practice management platform for clinic owners, veterinarians, practice managers, technicians, and reception teams. It brings direct online appointment scheduling, client portal workflows, patient records, reminders, two-way SMS and MMS, payments, invoicing, inventory, and clinical documentation into one web-based system. Booking is available through a website and client portal, while reminders use email and SMS. The client portal also supports appointment requests, deposits, prescription refill requests, and vaccination records.

Its tier structure is organized around expanding communications and clinical capabilities. Essentials provides modern veterinary practice management software. Ecosystem adds VetCove integration and core client communications, while Expert adds an advanced client portal and AI exam tools. Across the platform, clinics can connect tools including IDEXX, Zoetis, Antech, QSM Diagnostics, Twilio, Mango Voice, QuickBooks, Xero, and VetSnap. The feature set also covers appointment, boarding, and staff-availability calendars; digital forms; treatment whiteboards; integrated payments; estimates; invoicing; charge capture; and laboratory and radiology integrations. A one-time onboarding fee applies.

NectarVet is a strong fit for practices that want client communication, scheduling, and administrative workflows closely connected to patient records. Its AI-powered voice-to-SOAP generation and AI-assisted medical history review add a documentation focus, while VoIP dial-out, call forwarding, and embedded phone functionality support reception workflows. Clinics that need a web-based system with direct booking, messaging, deposits, inventory, and veterinary integrations should consider it. Practices requiring a native mobile app or a narrower scheduling-only tool may prefer a different option.
