MySigMail Card review
A focused open-source builder for developers who need exportable email layouts.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
MySigMail Card is an open-source, browser-based email template builder for developers and teams that want to create layouts without writing email markup from scratch. Its visual canvas uses 78 preset blocks, including text, buttons, images, dividers and menus. Editors can change layout, spacing, sizing, alignment, colors, links and mobile behavior directly in the design. The app runs on the web, requires no account and stores templates in browser local storage, while developers can also self-host its static build.
Card is free under the AGPL-3.0 licence. The published terms also state that closed-source embedding requires a separate commercial licence. There are no paid product tiers described; instead, the main distinction is between using the hosted editor, self-hosting the static application and extending its block catalog. Export options are practical for production workflows: responsive HTML can be sent to another system, and editable JSON can be imported later by replacing or appending to the canvas. Undo, redo and autosave support iterative template work without an account-based workspace.
Its focus remains template construction rather than campaign operations. Card does not send email or manage contacts, and it has no integrations, collaboration tools or AI features. That makes it a fit for developers who want a controllable visual layer, reusable Card JSON templates and the option to host the editor themselves. Teams seeking shared editing, connected marketing systems, automated generation or an end-to-end email platform should choose a product built around those capabilities instead. Solo developers and small technical teams that value open-source control and straightforward HTML export are the clearest audience.
