Moverse Capture review
Live multi-actor capture with streaming, remote controls and cloud reprocessing.

Moverse Capture combines local Capture Studio software with a web-based Portal and Capture Hub for markerless motion capture. It is aimed at teams recording performances with multiple cameras, from live tracking and streaming through to animation workflows. Browser-based remote control and a recording dashboard support managing capture data, while the platform also offers camera calibration, per-camera controls and multi-actor recording. Its published Studio plan supports up to two actors and eight cameras; Max raises those limits to four actors and 16 cameras.
Live capture and output options are central strengths. Moverse describes real-time capture at 60+ FPS in Studio, unlimited live streaming, and data streaming to multiple endpoints. Unreal Engine is the listed integration, while game-engine plugins, an SDK and an API are included in Studio. A REST API and C++ SDK provide routes for custom workflows. Teams needing more than four actors, more than 16 cameras, custom integrations or large capture areas can look to the Custom plan. That makes the product a closer fit for production teams coordinating live capture than for buyers seeking a simple standalone recording tool.
Post-capture tools are available through the Post-Process Add-on, which includes body reprocessing, finger tracking and multi-pass refinement. The product also describes cloud AI body and finger reprocessing, plus retargeting to standard rigs including Mixamo Ybot, Mannequin and Actorcore. These capabilities can help teams move captured performances toward animation, but the add-on is a separate part of the offering. Choose Moverse Capture if remote control, live streaming and multi-actor capture matter to your pipeline; consider alternatives if your needs are limited to basic capture or a small, fixed setup without those workflows.

- Cloud AI reprocessing and standard-rig retargeting support production workflows
- Where it doesn't
- Studio is limited to two actors and eight cameras
- More than four actors or 16 cameras requires a Custom plan
- A Post-Process Add-on is needed for body reprocessing and finger tracking
