Motavo is a UK marketplace for people researching used cars and contacting sellers, rather than buying a vehicle on the site. Shoppers can filter listings by make, fuel, transmission, body type, price, year and mileage. Motavo Match ranks cars into a shortlist based on buyer preferences, and a comparison view places up to four cars side by side. Those tools make Motavo most relevant to shoppers who want help narrowing options and estimating ownership costs before speaking with a seller.
Cost-estimation features give the marketplace a research focus beyond browsing adverts. Motavo provides guide pricing and a Motavo score, plus a finance calculator where shoppers can adjust the deposit, term and APR to estimate monthly payments. It also offers running-cost estimates. These are useful inputs for comparing shortlisted cars, but the site does not complete purchases: enquiries go directly to sellers. Buyers who want an online checkout or a transaction handled within one service should look elsewhere.

Sellers can create and manage vehicle adverts through a dashboard and receive enquiries; the site advertises unlimited free seller listings during its launch period through 31 December 2026. Listings include external adverts, so availability and full advert details come from the original seller.
