MizuDroid is an Android SIP softphone for smartphones and tablets. It connects to SIP servers, PBXs, softswitches, or VoIP providers for incoming and outgoing VoIP calls. The app is aimed at Android users who already have a SIP account or service provider and want calling, messaging, video, conferencing, and related business-phone functions in one mobile client. It does not provide a VoIP service or phone number, so it is a client rather than a bundled calling service.

Pricing is straightforward. The Free Edition is available from Google Play for personal or non-commercial use. The Pro Edition costs $39 as a one-time license fee and adds commercial usage, G.729, and automatic tunneling/encryption. The published feature set includes multiple SIP accounts, simultaneous calls, call recording, SMS, instant messaging, call forwarding, transfer, hold, conferencing, video calls, push notifications, contact synchronization, presence, and BLF. Security options include TLS, SRTP, tunneling, and peer-to-peer encryption. Buyers should note that the $39 charge is not a recurring per-user subscription.

MizuDroid fits environments built around established SIP infrastructure, with integrations for Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Cisco, Elastix, and OpenSIPS. Its broad calling and PBX feature set makes it a practical choice for Android users who need more than basic VoIP dialing, particularly when multiple accounts, recording, SMS, or conferencing matter. The tradeoff is platform scope: it is Android-only, with no desktop app or browser calling. Choose it if your users are on Android and can supply their own SIP service; choose an alternative if you need a cross-platform client or a provider that includes phone service.
