Mizu WebPhone review
A capable customizable SIP client, but its one-time price limits its value.

Mizu WebPhone is a self-hosted browser softphone and JavaScript SIP library for VoIP providers, call centers, businesses, and developers. It connects directly to SIP servers, softswitches, PBXs, and compatible VoIP devices, supporting voice and video calling, conferencing, transfers, recording, chat, SMS, file transfer, multiple lines, and multiple SIP accounts. Its browser-based approach spans web, Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android access, while customizable interfaces and branding suit organizations that want their own client experience.
Pricing is structured as perpetual lifetime licenses rather than recurring per-user subscriptions. Basic costs $990 one-time and supports up to 100 clients with one SIP server, basic features, and basic support. Advanced costs $1,990 one-time, adds unlimited clients, up to four SIP servers, and advanced features and support. Gold costs $3,900 one-time, with unlimited clients, 10+ or unlimited SIP servers, and Gold features and support. That model can fit a provider or business planning long-term deployment, but the initial commitment makes the product less suitable for small teams seeking a low-cost trial or incremental adoption.
The strongest case for Mizu WebPhone is its ecosystem flexibility. It integrates with Mizu VoIP server, Voipswitch, FreeSWITCH, Cisco, Asterisk, 3CX, FreePBX, FusionPBX, Twilio, and Vonage, and includes a JavaScript SIP API for custom workflows. TLS, SRTP, and related protocols support encrypted communications. However, the product is a better match for organizations with SIP infrastructure and development resources than for buyers seeking a ready-to-use hosted phone service or a simple standalone app. Choose it for control, branding, and platform breadth; consider an alternative if minimal setup or lower upfront cost matters more.
