Mistika VR is desktop software for stitching and calibrating VR360 and VR180 footage. It is aimed at immersive-content operators and advanced VR creators who need optical-flow stitching, lens and geometry calibration, automatic color matching, camera and rig presets, and audio and timecode synchronization. Windows and macOS are supported, and the workflow connects with PTGui, APG, Meta Quest 2, Mistika Ultima, and Mistika Workflows. It is a focused production tool rather than a broad visual-effects application.

Pricing is organized around Personal and Professional editions. Personal Monthly costs €49 per month, while Personal Annual costs €499 per year; one-time Personal licenses cost €79 for 30 days or €790 for one year. These plans include optical-flow stitching, color matching, camera presets, audio and timecode synchronization, PTGui and APG support, and Mistika VR Connect support. Professional Monthly costs €69 per month, with Professional Annual at €699 per year; one-time Professional licenses cost €99 for 30 days or €990 for one year. Professional adds stereo 3D tools, stabilization, mesh support, render-farm support, and a professional support level. A 7-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

The strongest case for Mistika VR is a workflow centered on immersive stitching and finishing. Its feature set extends from calibration and color matching to stereo alignment, stabilization, and external render submission, giving professional users more specialized control than a basic stitcher. Its boundaries are equally important: SGO positions advanced compositing and motion-tracking work in Mistika Ultima or Boutique, not Mistika VR. Choose it when VR360 or VR180 stitching is the primary task and the Professional additions match the workflow. Choose an alternative when general-purpose compositing, camera tracking, or broader VFX work is central.
