Mind the Graph review
A web-based scientific design tool with research-focused illustrations, templates, charts, and AI features.

Mind the Graph is a web-based design platform for researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and science communicators who need scientific visuals for publications, presentations, or posters. Its focus is narrower than general-purpose infographic software: the product combines scientific illustrations with templates for infographics and graphical abstracts, plus chart creation and drag-and-drop editing. Users can also upload external images and export work as PNG, TIFF, or PDF. The Starter plan supports unlimited creations, but access to the scientific illustration library is restricted and the plan allows up to four scientific illustrations.
The plan differences center on asset access, customization, and collaboration. Researcher includes access to more than 75,000 scientific illustrations, fully customizable illustrations, professionally designed templates, unlimited AI image generation, vector downloads with publishing rights, and unlimited collaborators. Prime includes the Researcher features and adds three AI tools, academic writing assistance, literature search, and a journal finder. The product is freemium, with a Starter option and paid tiers; no price is needed to understand the main upgrade distinction: Starter is for trying the creation workflow, while Researcher and Prime add broader resources and research-oriented capabilities.
Mind the Graph fits teams and individuals who communicate scientific material and value purpose-built illustration assets, graphical-abstract formats, and poster or presentation creation in one web workspace. Team content sharing and collaboration are part of the feature set, and paid plans specify unlimited collaborators. Its focus may be less suitable for people seeking a tool for interactive infographic publishing: publishing is static. It is also web-only according to its listed platform. Choose it for research communication and publication-ready static visuals; consider a different category of tool if interactive publishing or a non-web platform is central to the workflow.
