mimem.ai is a cloud-based, markerless motion-capture platform for creators, game developers, filmmakers, and animation teams. It processes recorded footage from phones, webcams, GoPros, DSLRs, and other cameras to reconstruct full-body motion, hands, fingers, and feet. The web, iOS, and Android service also supports synchronized phone capture, calibration-free capture, browser-based animation previews, uploaded character rigs, and multi-actor capture for up to three actors.

The freemium pricing structure makes it possible to begin with the Free plan, which includes 50 tokens daily, 2 GB of storage, up to three cameras, and three FBX exports monthly. Character retargeting is preview-only on that tier. Essential costs €25 per month and adds character retargeting, IK retargeting, 500 tokens daily, 25 GB of storage, and 40 monthly FBX exports. Plus costs €60 per month, raises the allowance to 1,500 tokens daily and 50 GB of storage, supports up to six cameras, and includes unlimited FBX exports. Pro costs €199 per month, with 5,000 tokens daily, 100 GB of storage, up to 12 cameras, and unlimited FBX exports.

Its workflow fits teams moving captured animation into established 3D and game-development pipelines: listed integrations include Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, MotionBuilder, and Cascadeur. Multi-camera synchronization and triangulation, IK retargeting, and phone synchronization support more involved capture setups without requiring markers. The main boundary is workflow timing: mimem.ai processes recorded video rather than streaming real-time capture. It is a strong fit for mobile capture, retargeting, and FBX-based production, while teams requiring real-time output or another export format should choose an alternative.
